Division Chief JD Hendrick began his career with a small rural EMS agency in southwest Washington called North Country EMS.  JD also worked EMS in both Los Angeles County and Charlotte, North Carolina before landing his dream job at Meridian Fire.  JD was hired in 2005 with a group of Firefighter/Paramedics to start staffing the fire engines as Advanced Life Support.  Since then, he has promoted through the ranks of Firefighter, Engineer, and Captain.  In October 2019, JD promoted to Division Chief of EMS.

Chief Hendrick has an Associate’s degree in Fire Service Technology.

In his spare time, he enjoys hanging out with his family, golfing, fishing, and spending time in the mountains.
