Hillsdale Park

3801 E Hill Park St

Amenities & Features:

Hillsdale Park is being built adjacent to the collaborative complex called The Hill, which currently houses Hillsdale Elementary School and will eventually be home to a new Treasure Valley Family YMCA and Saint Luke’s medical facility. The park’s groundbreaking was celebrated on April 7, 2017.

The park’s playground and grass areas near Hillsdale Elementary will be used by students during the school day and will open in time for the school year in August 2017. Other portions of the park will not be fully open until the grass is established. Scheduled use of the sports fields (i.e. soccer, flag football, etc.) is projected to begin in Spring 2018.

Hillsdale Park will have an agricultural theme, in keeping with the property’s heritage as the Hill Century Farm. The land for the park was donated by Marti Hill & Dixie Cook, long-time Meridian residents who live next to the property. Hill’s grandfather homesteaded the property in 1891.

Its amenities will include agriculture-themed signs, a restroom building, two picnic shelters, a tractor-themed playground, a walking path with fitness stations, hay bale benches, and a water wickets play feature.
