The Meridian Parks and Recreation Department’s mission is to enhance the community’s quality of life by providing innovatively designed parks, connected pathways, and diverse recreational opportunities for all citizens.
Trunk or Treat
The community is invited to attend the 12th Annual Trunk or Treat. Come is costume and visit the 90 plus businesses who and organizations who have decorated their space and are offering free candy.
Date: Thursday, October 23
Time: 6:00 - 9:00 pm
Location: Meridian City Hall
Attendance is free. A donation of $1 per child is encouraged to support the Meridian Food Bank Backpack Program. Look for their booth to drop dry good into the donation barrels or click below to donate online.

Attendance and participation to Trunk or Treat is free. We ask that you "pay it forward' with a suggested donation of $1 per child or can of food to support the Meridian Food Bank Backpack Program.
The program gives qualifying students a backpack with enough food for six meals and two snacks to ensure that they have food to eat over the weekend. (Every $25 feeds a student for six weeks.)
